The new generation
heat pumps

Aira, founded in Stockholm in 2022, is a next-generation heat pump company that is investing heavily in leading the green transition for domestic heating systems in Europe. Aira delivers Swedish-developed heat pumps based on proven heat pump technology and enhanced with intelligent cloud-based functions that provide completely new opportunities for energy optimisation. The ambitions also extend far beyond heating and hot water, when the home's entire energy consumption and production can be co-optimised by a single control system.

Codiax had the privilege of being with Aira in their venture from a very early stage and for a long time, when we, among other things, built the first Linux platform for the heat pumps' connection module to the cloud services. We set up support for LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and Thread for communication, built production systems, support for secure FOTA, and were deeply involved in the wireless communication between the heat pump and other Aira household devices.
